The Lenovo T60 laptop series is first ever kind of ThinkPad that was released with the latest Intel core dual processor.   The T-series is basically targeted towards professionals and businesspeople.  The most important features such as durability, security and high performance are all present in the Lenovo T60 laptop.  There are a little bit of changes in the configuration settings and keyboard and port layout in the T60 ThinkPad laptop.

The most important thing is that it is available in two screen options (14 or 15″).  The 14″ is lightweight and has a long battery life whereas the 15″ offers high performance with option of Flexible View screen with a little bit of high weight and less battery power life.

Lenovo T60 Laptop Review:

Let’s talk about the benefits of owning the Lenovo ThinkPad T60 notebook:

1. The Keyboard is quite good and comfortable with good design.  It’s definitely among the best keyboards if you compare the other laptops and now it also has a windows special key in it.

2. Also, the 15 inch flexible view screen give is great viewing experience and it is quite easy on your eyes if you are computing all day long.

3. If you have a great combination of 2.0 GHz core duo processor and a graphics card of X1400 128 MB, then it is really a jet fast deal and great experience.

4. It is quiet and you would not find any kind of overheating issue even with such fast processor and a good video card.

5. Long battery life.

6. In case, if you need some more ports then you also have port replicator options and Lenovo T60 docking station option.

7. It also has multi bay which is easier to switch over an optical drive with secondary hard drive, optical drive upgrade or battery.

Now, with so many advantages, there are going to be some disadvantages:

1. It does not have FireWire or SD card slot or S- Video Ports which means that the Lenovo T60 laptop lacks in this area.

2. With 6.3 lbs weight in the 15 inch is a bit on a heavier side to be actually termed as portable and if you are looking for portability, then the 14″ is surely portable.

3. As it is a high-tech product, it is on the higher end of the price range.  So, for budget people the T60 Lenovo is not the right choice, unless you purchase a used or refurbished Lenovo T60 laptop.

4. Looking at the newly fitted volume and the power buttons, they are extremely boring and cheap. Also, the smaller mouse button without any added color looks quite uninteresting and if you have a look at the old style, it was much better looking and easy to use. 

In fact, these are minor disadvantages.  Also, it is appreciated for durability and it’s easy to use and gives a very professional look with lots of connectivity options.  So, all in all it is a good package deal so it is surely a recommended product and if you are a business man or a professional, then its thumbs up for the Lenovo ThinkPad T60 notebook.
